On the 21st October 2018, I arrived nice and early as usual at one of my favourite wedding venues in Lancashire, Mitton Hall. I absolutely love this venue and it’s staff are always very welcoming and a brilliant team to work with. Sophie, along with her mum and her 2 beautiful bridesmaids were already in full swing, chilling with PJ’s on and enjoying breakfast in the room. It’s actually my favourite part of the day to photograph, which was nice and relaxed giving me more opportunity to get creative with the details and preparation. I was joined by Make up by Frankie and award winning videographer Adam Wing who were both fabulous to work with. I had 2 cracks at the whip as Sophie & Edward had chosen to include a Jewish ceremony immediately after the civil ceremony which gave Edward the task of breaking the glass by stamping on it following tradition in style. He smashed it!!! The rest of the day unfolded with brilliant speeches and I’ve never witnessed the chaos of a Jewish reception before having to navigate my way through a packed dance floor with some epic traditional Jewish dancing. Both Sophie & Edward were extremely camera shy, but we do love a challenge and when the time came to photograph the portrait session they rocked it like pro’s. All in all, this was one of my favourite weddings to photograph this year and I hope you enjoy looking through just a snipet of their magical day.
