Q&A

Can’t think of any questions?….Here’s a few just to get you started.

Q. Where are you based & how far do you travel?

Well, I’m based in Bolton, Greater Manchester. This is my hometown, ideally located in the heart of the north-west, but I shoot weddings all over the UK and abroad if your pocket stretches that far. Travel within 100 miles is included in my fee and if your wedding venue is further afield then I charge £100 to cover my hotel/travel expenses.

Q. Will it be yourself that photographs our wedding day?

Absolutely, from the moment we meet right through to the delivery of your photographs you have my devoted time and attention. I sometimes have an assistant, dependant on availability, to help me with my equipment and setting up lighting if needed, this allows me to focus 100% on your day without fussing over the geeky stuff.

Q. Do you take traditional group shots?

If this is your main priority to have traditional portraits and a traditional photography style, then I’m probably not the right photographer for you. Of course, I realise that for some these types of shots are important and I will always try to accommodate a few close family portrait shots, but on the whole, my style is very much reportage and journalistic throughout your wedding day with very little in the way of posed family or staged group shots.

Q. Do you offer engagement shoots?

Yes I do, I feel it’s a very important part of the package. It really gives us the opportunity to show each other our true selves, show our fun side, relax and have a lot of fun, and hopefully nail some really great shots. It will give you a good idea of how I work and when the big day arrives, you’ll both look terrific on camera and your wedding photographs will look awesome. If you would like to add this to your package then this would be just £200 for an hours session at a location and date to suite everyone.

Q. How long will we have to wait for our photographs?

Patience is a virtue, or so they say. but I can’t think of anything more painful than having to wait months to see your finished photograph’s. I always strive to fully edit your photographs and have them delivered to your door within 4 weeks, but this will be dependant on whether you have ordered albums which may take longer due to manufacturing times.

Q. How many photographs do we get?

Typically, you will receive around 300 or more fully edited in my signature style, high-resolution jpeg images on disc, all ready for you to print & share with your family and friends as you wish.

Q. How much deposit do you need to secure the day?

I ask for a £200 deposit to fully secure your wedding day with me. This is usually done via bank transfer and the balance can be settled up to 30 days before the wedding day.

Feel free to send me a message using the form below if you have any more questions, it would be great to hear from you.
