Having travelled down the night before their big day, I was well rested and exited to get cracking with the day ahead. With a snowy start to the morning it later brightened up with glorious sunshine and the bridal preparations were well under way. With a pre visit to the venue and church the month before, I was confident I would get to the Whitewell church which was only 5 minutes away all in good time. Needless to say panic set in when I took the wrong turn and completely got lost…oh god, my worst nightmare. Somehow, I just about managed get to the church at the same time as Lisa and her bridesmaids. Phew!! The ceremony was just lovely and Lisa & Nick were pronounced man & wife. After getting the classic confetti shot we all made our way back to Iscoyd Park for champagne, food and some more photographs before the speeches. Nick was exited to show off his mixology skills where he had set up his very own cocktail bar for the evening guests. The last dance was smooched to the tune of Nat king Cole’s “Let there be love” which was played by the brilliant Fusion Dukes, a live 4 piece band who were exceptional. All in all, it had been a fan tastic day which was all down to both Lisa & Nick for putting on one hell of a wedding.
